Mid-Year Training

Mark your calendars for the 2023 Mid-Year Training and Advisory Board Meeting. The meeting will be held at the East View Community Center. 1655 Philippi Pike, Clarksburg WV 26301. The meeting will be in person and on Zoom. Lunch will be provided for people attending in person only. During this meeting a final vote will be held on the color of the T-Shirts. Since we know not everyone can come to the meeting and their group may not be holding local People First meetings, below is a survey to let people voice their opinion. Registration forms will be available no later than April 1st. Discussion on what training will be provided will happen during the March and April teleconferences.

Mental Health March

Why is mental health important for your overall health?

What is mental health?

Mental health is our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It can also determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is just as important as your physical health

Spread awareness about how to tell the difference in relationships!

Mental and physical health are both important for you to lead a healthy life. You mental health can affect your physical health and your physical health can affect your mental health. Your mental health can also change over time depending on a variety of factors. It can change based off working long hours, caring for someone, experiencing financial and economic hardships, and stress.

Also contact mental health professional for more information and to guest speak at your meetings.
